The ancestral temple holds regular prayer ceremonies for good fortune in response to the needs of believers from all directions.

The auspicious prayer ceremony, through the setting up of an altar and performing rituals by a highly accomplished master, as well as presenting a memorial, can pray for blessings and good fortune, smooth financial flow, the disappearance of misfortunes, the shining of auspicious stars, and the harmony of Yin and Yang.

The ancestral temple's auspicious prayer ceremony is presided over by the God of Wealth. Besides allowing everyone to pray for the protection of their natal star God, it also instructs people to offer vegetarian meals for three days to pray for the well-being of all living beings.
