In Taoist temples, the official position is regarded as a source of merit and virtue. As it is the source of life, enlisting an official position can be understood as rooting one's roots in the Taoist temple. This is a convenient way to cultivate merit and virtue. Its merit and benefits are even more extraordinary: by constantly listening to the scriptures and the Dharma, one can repel villains, make many good connections, and increase one's blessings and wisdom. Those who often receive the light of the Dharma candle to illuminate their official positions can enhance their fortune, receive support from influential people, and enjoy a prosperous life.

The "Supreme Jade Emperor's Heart Seal Classic" states: "The third grade of the best medicine is the essence of spirit and qi." Repairing one's position is to repair the foundation of a person, to eliminate disasters and prolong life, and it can also be called "the foundation of a small seed's life". From the perspective of Yi learning, the "Di Tian Su" states: "A large amount of the 'gan' is not as good as a heavy 'zhi'. The 'gan' represents qi and the 'Zhi' represents momentum." When there is qi at the top of the trunk and momentum at the bottom, it can be said that there is qi and strength, and the essence, energy and spirit are abundant. Therefore, for ordinary people, supplementing their stipend is to replenish their essence, energy and spirit. Naturally, they will be immune to all evil and enjoy a long and happy life.

In the human world, the vast majority of people have no official position or suffer losses in their official ranks. And repairing and establishing immortality positions is something that everyone can do, which is beneficial in every way.

In the main hall of the ancestral temple, there is a wall of ten Thousand Gods dedicated to the altars. The altars are placed on both sides of the deities. Those named on the altars are offered incense and chanting scriptures in the morning and evening every day. They are blessed and protected by the ancestral masters and other deities. This helps them eliminate disasters, prolong their lives, increase their blessings and wisdom, resolve grudges and conflicts, accumulate merit and virtue, and attract the illumination of the three lights of the sun, moon and stars, as well as the presence of noble people like Lu Ma. There is also the importance of taking advantage of the favorable weather to change their fortune.

The altars are enshrined on both sides of the altar, protected by the deities. In the Taoist temple, they offer true scriptures in the morning, at noon and in the evening, dedicated to the merit and virtue, bringing good luck and happiness, avoiding misfortune and disasters, and solving difficulties. They can be offered to oneself, one's family and friends, protected by the divine grace!
