Fenling


"Fen Ling" refers to the act of believers or temple altars inviting the golden statue of the God of Wealth from the ancestral temple to offer and pass on the incense. Since the Jin Dynasty, over the course of thousands of years, there have been countless individual believers and group believers from temples and altars who have branched their spirits from the ancestral temple of the God of Wealth. Therefore, there is a saying that "The origin of the God of Wealth in the world is from Mount Zhao Gong (the Ascension Platform)." And spreading the incense of the God of Wealth and the right path of faith has also become a major responsibility of the ancestral temple of the God of Wealth.

The statue of the God of Wealth in the God of Wealth Ancestral Temple is shaped as a representative of Chinese God of Wealth culture and is widely invited by Chinese people all over the world. The Dharma statue is based on the cultural background of ancient Shu and Taoism, with the Golden Wheel, Ruyi, Zhengyi, Xuan Tan, Dragon and Tiger True Lord as the main thread. Wearing armor inside and a Taoist robe outside, it reflects the identity of the ancestor of the God of Wealth, a military general, and the founder of Taoism. Stepping on a tiger implies obtaining wealth. The twenty-four golden whips correspond to the twenty-four festivals, symbolizing that Taoism follows nature and also concealing the immortal's words that Taoism originated in the twenty-four periods of governance. The most distinctive feature of the Dharma statue compared to other folk statues is its golden face, which reflects the identity of the God of Wealth as the "essence of the sun" and the inheritance of the sun worship culture in ancient Shu culture.
