In order to promote the excellent traditional Chinese culture, publicize the beautiful hometown of Dujiangyan, and assist in the inheritance and development of the intangible cultural heritage of the Zhaogong Mountain Spring Festival folk custom of welcoming the God of Wealth, the 2018 Dujiangyan Zhao Gongming God of Wealth Cultural Theme Creative Design Competition, guided by the Propaganda Department of the CPC Dujiangyan Municipal Committee, hosted by the Dujiangyan Zhaogong Mountain God of Wealth Museum (under construction), undertaken by Chengdu Neusoft University, and co-organized by the Dujiangyan Municipal Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau, has entered the concentrated design and creation stage.
Recently, the School of Mathematics and Arts of Chengdu Neusoft University organized 370 teachers and students from the Department of Visual Communication, Department of Animation, and Department of Industrial Design to conduct field research in the Zhaogongshan Caidao Cultural Scenic Area in Dujiangyan to gain creative inspiration.



The senior brothers visited the Ancestral Temple of the God of Wealth, the Museum of the God of Wealth, the Millennium Ginkgo, the Ascension Platform, the Bundle of Firewood, the New Year Picture Museum, the Stone-Turning Platform and other scenic spots, tracing the ancient Shu culture and the wealth culture through time and space. Various novel design concepts and unique visual expressions continue to emerge, injecting unprecedented vitality and creativity into the competition.
This competition will give full play to the professional characteristics and advantages of design schools, break traditional boundaries, apply new technologies and new perspectives to enrich the expression and connotation of design works, use creativity to enhance the charm of intangible cultural heritage, highlight the connotation of Dujiangyan city, and enhance Dujiangyan's popularity, reputation and influence.
